You’re assessment lesson will begin when our instructor collects you from your home or office.

You will need to bring both parts of your provisional driving licence with you and the instructor will ask you to read a number plate of a car in the street to quickly check your eyesight.

If you require glasses or contact lenses to read a standard car number plate in good daylight from 20.5 metres, (67 feet), then you must wear them every time you drive.

Our driving instructor will then take you to a quiet location close by and give you a ‘mini’ driving lesson.

He’ll ask you about any previous experience you may have had - so he can properly evaluate your skills and knowledge. He’ll also explain the structure of the driving test and give you an understanding of what you need to do to pass and be safe on the roads.

It’s also an ideal opportunity for you to sample his method of teaching. Of course, we want you to take lessons with us, but just because you’ve had an assessment lesson, you are under no obligation to do so.
